370LR Banshee vs CR500 @ Oldsmobile Hill (Glamis Dunes)
I could'nt beat him is that good or bad raced twice only but still.
Are they that fast or am I not fast enough??
I would rage out of hole 1/2 or 3/4 up the hill then here he would come and pass me
beat me appx 4-5 bikes...
I am just wanting to see if any else had any luck with them..
MINE IS FAR FROM ALL OUT DRAG BANSHEE BUT I HAVE DONE QUITE A FEW THINGS TO HER..
No BS stories try to keep it real thx...Digger

Digger,
It's the whole power to weight ratio thing. I think those stock cr500 put out like 58hp and only weigh like 226lbs. That's pretty hard to beat. You should always get the holeshoot though. (more tire on the ground) My 0.2

It's simple, those CR500's are FAST. I rebuilt one for a guy and it had a FMF pipe and silencer on it. It was bored out .020 over and the ports were cleaned up after I had it bored. That bike was sick. I can only imagine what it'd do in a quad frame .

Velocityraptor how the hell have you been...That CR500 surprized me, but now that I think about it makes sense he can't hammer it out of the hole or it would be wheelie heaven..I guess i had high hopes....~~~~~~~~~~~It was a normal CR500 of the two wheel type~~~~~~~~ but now you got me thinking there is a shop (Screwie Lewie's 602-254-7433) here that has a CR500 motor in a 250r modified frame I think I would do much better against that one..Digger
