removing flywheel on blaster
#1
The question says it all. I have the clutch basket off and all the gears off on the clutch side of the engine. I need to split the cases and I can't get the flywheel off. I have the nut off and the washer out. I already took all the screws off the rotor assembly. How in the heck do I pull this thing off?

Check with your local dealers for a flywheel puller. Pullers range from $10 to $30 depending on the brand and type.
Most shops, including ours, will pull your flywheel for about $5.00 just by driving around to the shop.
Usually a puller isn't neccessary on most flywheels. Sometimes one shot with a dead blow hammer to the end of the crank will knock it loose.[Not hitting the threads directly!!!] If you decide to try this, only do it once. If it's going to come off using this method, it will come loose that first time. Any more than that will cause damage to the crank and crank bearings.
Good luck.
