By every thing I read on various posts a piped and jetted Raptor can now only hang with a 400EX. What are people thinking?![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

Thats crazy, a stock Raptor woops up on 400EX's, a piped and jetted one would eat them whole, except maybe in the trails or on an mx track.

Wow!!! I haven't had my Raptor for very long, but I have had opportunity to drag with a piped and jetted/K&M'ed 400ex. I didn't even come close to giving it everything since my Raptor isn't even broke in yet, and I was thinking he had mechanical failure since he fell back so fast!!!

I had a 440ex with all the bells and whistles a drag(far more mods than my piped and jetted 01), I walked away from him as soon as I hit 2nd. He had to 50lbs littler than me. I will say the Yosh pipe make that ex "sound" fast [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I ran across a couple of brothers at Little Sahara a couple of weeks ago that had 400exs and there was not a Raptor there that could stay with them dragging. A friend has a very modified and fast Banshee and he didn't stay with them very well either.

 

Were these stock or modified 400's?

 

Either my Raptor is unaturaly fast or all the cannondales and 440ex,s I have ever run across are unaturaly slow but I have never been left by a one! Just must be LUCKY I guess.
