Picked up a brand new blaster recently. Broke it in some but as I push it harder it won't rev., just sputters and goes flat past 1/3 throttle. Took the air box lid off and it runs like a raped ape. Mechanically everything seems to be OK. Anyone else get a new blaster that runs extremely rich? BTW at sea level and about 60 deg.

I've never heard of a need for a jetting change after break-in on any model.

You sure the air filter just doesn't need cleaning?? Did you change fuels or injection oil?? Did you change to pre-mix??

If it isn't the air filter, take it back in to your dealer. Even if it does require jetting, warranty will cover it and all the trial error required to do so.
