I have been looking into a high compression piston for my 01 Raptor and was wondering what everybody likes. JEPistons has a 12:1 and Wiseco 11:1, I'm staying with the standard bore. Would there be any advantage to 12:1 over 11:1?

So my question to you is what piston to use and why? TIA

You should get more power out of the 12 but I think you would have to run race gas. With the 11 pump gas would work, I think.

Radman, I went with the 11:1 piston because I do ALOT of trail riding and often have to gas up at a store and I have never seen racing fuel at the pumps! I like the extra bottom end from the compression and also like being able to put in 93 octane that works fine for me. If you are useing standard bore than try it and if you feel you like more than you can always bore it out and put in the 12:1!
