Everybody makes the same mistake, especially up here in Montreal, Canada. HMF is indeed the name. By the way, very very good build quality. As good or better than the big gun I had on my Raptor. Same look to it. Very sharp.

Bingo, you hit the nail on the head! I cannot remember how many times fellow riders have given me that "what a bozo, he can't even say FMF" look... after asking me what kind of pipe I have. I usually have to repaet it to them or take the mud off the HMF logo on the pipe. hehe...

So how do you like the Grizz compared to the raptor???

Most all of the aftermarket pipes are very loud in my opinion. I've heard the HMF and Supertrapp and would not consider either one. Had a IDS2 on my last one which was awful loud.

With people getting on the bandwagon against atv's everywhere in the country right now, it would seem prudent to stay as quiet as possible. Unless, of course, you are racing in a sanctioned event, then go for it. Been there done that and it's something we just don't need from atv's is more noise and get more people pissed off at us.

If some don't wise up, we will be banned from sitting on our atv's in our own driveway soon. Property owners get really mad when they hear that noise. Quiet is good when on others property.

How many run on others property . . . I'll bet almost everyone.

Yes, it is scary loud!!! When I installed mine on my Grizz it literally scared me the first time it is very veeeeeeeery loud. I could only compare the sound to a very modified quarter mile race street car. But the power it is indeed very noticeable! Anyways I immediately got the quiet core for it and now the sound is a little more decent (at least now it doesnt send running every living creature in the forest on a two mile radius! HAHAHAHAHAHAH)

Happy rindin'
