15 tooth sprocket for Raptor
#1
Anyone tried one on an '01? I have been running a 14 tooth front sprocket for a long time and like the results. Continually find myself in 4th and 5th gear on the trail as well and stay away from the 4X4 rock crawling.

I haven't tried 15 tooth put i tried the 14 and i lost a lot of low end i couldn't hole shot in second gear anymore put i had alot of top end i clock my bike at 79mph with 14 tooth. so want i am trying 2 say is with 15 tooth you will get a ton of top end but you will lose alot of low end. If you do it clock your bike and let me know how fast it goes.Good luck.

I was clocked at 79.3 with the 14 tooth front sprocket. This was with the stock muffler uncorked. I would be surprised if I pulled 1-2 mph more when I hit 5th....I imagine I could pull the same top speed with a 13 tooth front sprocket since the machine could "pull" the gearing better.
That should change now since I have the E-series 99% dialed in perfect. Gonna try a 15 tooth....probably would'nt any be faster on top than the 14 tooth now.....hoping for better acceleration.
