Badassbomb; You've got one hell of a DS650...there!!!! You would probably beat my Raptor in a drag race, but I ride on 30plus acres of nothing but trails in my backyard... Want to come out & play?????? Watch out for that tree!!!!

badassbomb,

Out at the spillway just west of new orleans (norco) they have some compatition lurking about.

Call 504-888-race Jay at LA supercross has a very nice drag strip that has all the compatition you could handle. He's located in avvondale,la just outside N.O.

I could give you times and places for just about every week end. MX and SX are usually 1st and 3rd week end of the month and drags are 2nd and 4th week end of the month. I can find out for you if you give me a couple days. I'm usualy out and about at all the tracks and practice area's on my weeks off, just need to make some calls.

Just be carefull of what you wish for. If you get past the raptors and 502EX's they have some pretty bad shee's and 250R's that have been owning many tracks for more years than the raptor or DS has been around.

I've been to LA dunes when they have drags, to be honest, the lame's drags I've ever been to.

i usually ride at the spillway once or twice a month. theres an area in the back where they drag race.the only races ive lost are to shees. well actually i never lost to them, i dont see the use in racing alcohol drag banshees. but every other banshee i raced so far there i beat. i like racing there because its not like the tracks here that only race 300ft. thats too short for me, im still in 3rd gear. we race like 600 ft at the spillway. theres allways alot of raptors there, but nothin like trinity 686raptors. i want to race a raptor thats built like my DS is for once to see how i do. i might have to make a road trip to 14mins place

I never see any built raptors around there neither. We go a couple times a month also. Mainly to practice XC or trail ride with the kids.

We use to like the MX track, that sandy track was graet to stay in shape on. Now it's all crapped out.

I know the shees you are talking about. I see them in avvondale too. That avvondale track is very very good. Good dirt, strip is graded often and tons of compattition.

On june 16th thier will be a mega bucks drag in mississippi. Almost all the good drag racers on the east coast go there. They pay 15 places and have many classes. You should look that up, it's put on by the national atv drag assotiation.

hole shots MX track in hammond is sappose to have thier drag strip up by now. Thier is another rite across the border in fernwood miss as well.

If you realy want to know where you stand I would look into these. These boys don't play on back yard tracks or any thing like that. They race sand drag rails at these events also. So when you think you are real fast, one of these boys will show you what fast is.

Not trying to flame any one, just trying to illistrate how series most of these guys are.
