Are there any fast raptors in south La.? everyone i see i challenge to a drag race, and they all race me. raptor owners like to drag race, ill give them that. but there sooo slow. i havent found 1 raptor that can run close to my DS. the only fast quads down here are banshees and my DS. raptor owners dont get mad[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]
im just wondering if there any around here. i read about all you fast raptors beating every DS, but i never seen a fast rator

 

You mentioned Fast and LA in the same sentence ! I thought everything in LA was fast or as we call it

From what I herd every ATV thats sold in the California area comes with at least two of the items listed below

1. A built in alarm system with a pager.
2. Low Jack. ( theft tracking system )
3. Anti theft inginition system.
4. VIN #'s stamped every 4 inches on the frame and motor.
5. Locking lug nuts on all 4-wheels
( *note standard on the Low rider model with MOMO rims )
6. six pac rack with built in CD player, Amp and Subs.
( *note anti-shock CD player equiped with removable face plate )
7. 3-5 catalic converters to meet california emision control laws.
8. HONDA low rider style Muffler *note size of Folgers coffee tin.
9. Bullet proof gas tank * also comes with bullet proof vest $800.00

With all that weight added I can't see how any of the ATV'S in LA could be that fast. * NOT TRYING TO START A FLAME WAR, JUST KICK OUT SOME HUMOR TO THOSE WHO READ THIS. LOL LOL

P.S. I would be afraid to sleep at night with out one arm on my ATV and the other on my pistol in LA.

man.... i would really love to go to the next fsw. but i live so far away. dammmm. i would like to see some fast quads. the only thing we have here are piped and jetted bikes. nothing for me to even race against. every raptor and ds i race i beat by at least 12bikes or more. i will probably go to LA.dunes in Alexandria LA. next weekend. maybe ill see some fast raptors there

There were these 2 guys from Sherman Texas saying the same thing 6 months ago. A couple of times a month they come down to try out the raptors again. Every time we send them bad to the drawing board.

Badassbomb- make the trip to Aledo Tx. I have the drag strip and the raptors that will make your trip home long.

my DS has the following
105mm bore..719cc
12-1 piston
cams
head and intake ported and flowed on flow bench
40mm intake 32mm exaust valves
45mm mikuni carb with k&n on carb
rwr rev box and exaust
nos kit
and it is slamed on the ground so i can leave wide open for drag racing and spray in 2nd
im not sayin i cant be beat...jus i dont think you could beat me

 

BA- Sounds impressive to me. The 'hotest' bomb that i have run so far had- carb mounted k and n, cdi box, 12-1, ron wooods race 1 cams, 45mm carb and intake, one other Ds has nos. I spank those pretty good. There is suppose to be a 760 lurking around close.

BA- Any dyno numbers? Without the nos, it would be a good race. Heck might be a good race with the nos. Most of the Ds's around here sound fast, just do not back it up on the track
