I couldn't agree w/ you more. Hell, I used to think that my old 300ex was the best quad ever made because it was mine. Now I think that the C-dale was designed by God himself [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]... Wanna know why? Because thats what I chose and spent my money one, thats why! If I owned a Raptor, DS, Shee, or EX, they would be the best thing on 4-wheels too!

KingRaptor - WTF is your deal?!? Why do you think you are such a bad @ss? Because you like to drag race? LOL, yeah that takes a lot of skill. Why don't you try some MX and see how much of a &quot;bad @ss&quot; you really are. All you ever do is bad mouth the guys on smaller quads while I know guys that ride Warriors, Mojave's, and stock 400ex's that could walk all over your @ss in a race. Oh and when someone said a C-dale will out run a Raptor, I'm sure they were talkin stock vs. stock or stock vs. piped... not stock vs. a friggin 686. Lets try a little common sence here.

i think i have to add my 2 cents here....the z400 is a great quad...i have ridden one...very nice...smooth power, great handling....good quad....i wont get one...cause i want a sport quad with the largest motor possible when i purchased my...and that was a raptor...did i give up some handling,,yes...but i knew i was going to build a killer MX machine...and improve the handling i did...does my raptor handle better now than a 400ex or z400...sure does...it cost me some money...but i didnt care....it's a raptor....will the z400 respond to aftermarket mods...sure will....but my raptor with it's sparks 690 kit...f'en flies....will the z400 even be as fast, powerful, quick and my raptor..never....no replacement like displacement....

my second thought is this....i race mx....i dont drag race...i do know that it takes some skill to drag race...but the skill required to race mx far exceeds that of drag racing...so you may be quick off the line..but can you clear a 50' tabletop....i have nothing against you Kingraptor... and you typically have great information for us all...but you tend to come off at times a little arrogant and bitchy....please keep the great information coming and thanks for your constructive input...but dont get into these pissing match that seems to be starting here...

Even after riding other quads I still love my DS more... My DS just feels better than the other quads I have rode. And its probley just because its mine. Well its also pretty fast too.

 

well i must admit i got exactly the response i expected. a lot of people i know think atvers are a bunch of rednecks that have no education and like causing trouble. the majority of us aren't but i certainly can see where they get the idea. i am not saying any of you guys are like that and we are all entitled to our opinion but there is no need to bash eachother and their machines. i wasn't bashing anyone with my original post. i just posted my opinion. i agree that the warrior should be compared to the Z and that the Z will totally smoke my warrior even with all the mods it has. but i also don't have 8000 dollars to go dump in a quad so for the money my warrior is just fine. a good point was made about the car comparisons. i would have to agree that if machines make around the same hp then they should be compared so i guess the comparisons are valid.

This thread sure went to crap. I guess the uneducated people are busy out riding wherever we like while you`re out looking for a park to ride in. If you wanna try 5 miles of timber trails vs 5 miles of whoops then bring your Raptor. Just for fun. Oh yeah, I`m 34 and I`m not bad. But the bad don`t mess with me.

 

Wow!!!making fun of the Warrior. I see it like this. THe Warrior is one of the best selling 4 wheelers ever made and is still selling strong after 10 years. Come talk to me when the Suzuki Z400 has been their that long and has the proven track record of the Warrior.

Ok enough said on that. It does always seem that people like to compare new machines to the 660 Raptor. Nothing wrong with that as it is just for fun. Everyone use to do that to a Banshee and many still do. 4 stokes and 2 strokes are different animals so to compare the two is just not the same. Your 4 strokes have to be twice as big to keep up so if you look at a 2 stroke is superior as far as size to power ratio. 4 strokes are smoother and normally require less work. DOes it all really matter. Just buy what you like. Only the owner really has to like his machine and no one else.

 

I can't believe you people!! Maybe KingRaptor came across a little blunt, but it looked to me he was giving Duncan the response he was looking for. Most of these threads that have to do with quad comparisons are only there to see if anyone will get a rise from them. I read them for the entertainment value myself, and Kings comments give them just the right amount of sarcasm to keep the entertainment value up there. (at least in my opinion) Lighten up guys

 

Why is everyone all pissed off...?

Think of it as an honor..the 660R has really set a new presedence in ATV performance...

Everything is compared to the RAPTOR ...its kind of funny to sit back and read all the posts..


But do remember to give Suzuki its props...they invented the 4th wheel...it would be nice to see them come out with a 650...Suzuki had the Quadzilla 500 back in the day.
