I am sick of all the trash talking going on between everybody regarding the new Z400 and Raptor etc. Why are we comparing a 400 4-stroke to a 660? If the 660 doesn't smoke the 400 that would be sad. Let's compare apples to apples here. When suzuki comes out with a 650 class machine then we have a comparison. In my opinion the raptor is underpowered considering the displacement when you take the fact that a cannondale will beat a raptor and a z400 will run with it. Leave the raptor competition to the ds and the z400 competition to the 400ex and the c-dales. nobody compares a suzuki rm85 with a yamaha yz250 or a suzuki gsxr-600 with a yamaha yzf-r1.

it's not are fault everyone compares their quad to the Raptor. They due this because they know it is the new bench mark. when i bought mine everyone with a banshee was quick to tell me how they were gonna spank me. how theirs nothing like 2 strokes...times they are a changing and four strokes are starting to get the attention they deserve.

if they race open classes...whats the problem.i'm sure the next shoot out in atv blah blah magazine will be lining them all up as well.

I see no reason why you shouldn't compare a Raptor to a Z or a C'dale to a EX. They are all made for the same market segment.
I never heard anyone say it was unfair that a 5.0V-8 Ferrari is compared to a flat 6 Porsche which is compared to a 5.7l Vette to a 8.0+ liter V-10 Viper....

Kingraptor, everytime you post lately you come off as a total d!ckhead. The guy was just making a point. Just because he doesn't ride a raptor you have to insult him. You're gonna get a Z for your daughter to putt around on while the big doggs are out riding with the banshees? Please. Thats the stupidest comment I ever heard. We're supposed to be a community. Its no wonder people who don't ride ATVs hate people that do. We can't even get along with each other.

-I think it's fun to compare all the machines. It keeps things interesting and competitive. A little adversity never hurt anyone.

-Do I think the Raptor is the baddest 4-stroke to walk the earth ? < Yes I do! That's my opinion, it's called adversity. The z400 will be an excellent reliable machine, but when it comes to drag racing, which most raptor owners do, the z400 will be without. My 2cents.
