It's nice to know where our engines come from. I had no idea that they were de-tuned that much. The way I see it, that's just that much more potential that our engines really have.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Being that they're German and use the metric system I have to assume that the PS stands for Pascals. What that means or is suppose to convert to I have no idea.

I agree with you 4x4mudslinger. I would much rather have a larger engine that has more potential than one that is strung out already with nowhere to go. The ultimate would be a combination of the two, hopped up but still with potential left, but we're just dreaming right. I sure do like the way the Raptor responds to mods. Now if I could just get my wife to let me spend the money for a 686, 720, etc. . . . . .

2fifty,

PS stands for Pferdestaerke which is literally stands for horsepower. Pferd=horse stark=strong, power. Doesn't stand for Pascals. That sucker put out 48 in stock trim in that bike. That translates to kickin' some serious ***.
