Shee or Raptor?
#1
Ok,people I have the magnificent choice of the Shee or the Raptor. I'm already leaning toward the Shee a little bit,cuz it's only 4800. I will be mostly riding at the track, drags, wide trails, fireroads, and some dunes every now and then. I'm 5'4 125 he he people say that thing is going to fly with me on it whichever I choose............
Which is easier to Mod?

Thrust- If you are gung ho ***** to the wall type of rider looking for a thrill, the shee might be better. But you will have to modd it. If you like to cruse effortlessly have electric start,be cool, stomp the compition (except drag shee's)get a raptor. I have a nice raptor, but i like to jump on my friends shee from time to time. Glad i have the raptor though.

What you need is a banshee. It will fly with you. I weigh 90lbs and it flys with me.If you drag race you do NOT need a raptor. At a track you will really have to put some money in the banshee. Its a little bit to powerful for a moto cross track. Dependability-Raptor
I really think the raptors are overated.A banshee is way easier to mod.

What model is the Banshee you are looking at? You should to be able to pick up an '01 Raptor for that price (if you decide on one)....bottom falls out of a quads worth once it leaves the showroom floor. Also, both respond well to mods.....as you have probably read.

I just bought a new Banshee last week, I thought about the Raptor, the price here is as follows
02 Banshee $5,999.00 + $200.00 freight/set up + $70.00 lic-title-doc
02 Raptor $6,500.00 + $200.00 freight/set up + $70.00 lic-title-doc
At $500.00 more for the Raptor it wasn't worth it to me, besides I wanted something thats ***** to the wall, constant Powerband, proven performance.
The Raptor has reverse which is nice though and no mixing the gas/oil.
The Banshee has proven it's place in the sand and track with every aftermarket part available and you can build a Banshee all day.
The Raptor however has a powder coated frame, sits taller and looks phat.
its a tough decision that only you can decide, however I tell you what I love my new Shee and wouldn't give it up for anything.

I was looking at an 01 shee. It was only 4800. I thought that was a dang good price. The only problem was though when I tried to shift the gears on it,it would only go into 1st and 2nd. Then the guy told me there was no tran fluid, nor premix in it,it was untouched. But,I just dont think I can get that kinda money fast enough. I'm about to sell my game system,b-box,Tv,SOME of my Cds. If I could find another job I would.
