Guys i need a new project! I am looking to build a banshee that hauls the mail! I have the raptor pretty much where i want it now i want to kick some shee butt. This project will not be ridden a whole lot, but do the mop up work the raptor can't. Who would you use? What size would you build? Swingarm length? I want between 90 and 110 hp. on race fuel?

90-110 HP? First Mod:WHEELIE BAR!!!! I'd send it off to trinity for a 570 long rod Banshee. Then put it on Nitros. With Race fuel.

14, vegas650 (Al) has a freind (Dave) that has a trinity 500 banshee. I think he said it is really like a 485 or something like that.

It hauls ***. I would probably do what he has if it were me. He just put on an extended swingarm, but before that it looked pretty much stock with pipes.

I believe he said he is in the 90 horspower range on race gas, but if he went to alcohol could be around 115. I could be wrong, but I think that is what he said. You could ask Al, he may know more. One thing I know is that it is freakin fast.

14mins- Rex giving you a hard time with his Shee? Probably not, I bet you want a trick dragger without making your Raptor unduneable. Can you go to the dunes on the 21st? I know it's close to your big weekend bash, but we have a good group. Look into Vito's for some inexpensive Shee motor mods.

I do recall in Dirt Wheels quite some time ago about a 120 or 130hp turbo Banshee. Does anyone have that article? That maybe what your after 14. Just think of what that turbo would sound like spooling down the strip.

<< how about a 525 powervalveand then add a large turbo, then get n02 to get it spooled up then let fly with 180-210 hp. ihave seen somewhere that a guy has a 721 banshee that makes about 280hp and runs the 300 sand drags in 3. something seconds. >>

lol can you say "AV-GAS"???

Do they sell knock sensors for banshees? I can see it now, pulling up with a 6 gallon gas can at 4 bucks a gallon... tell'em it's for your lawn mower....

Ive been intersted in the crankenstein motors, I hear they are extremely torquey. Thats what id get if money was no object. Or make a triple cylinder, I even saw a company making 4-cylinder banshees.

Does anyone know the websites for K&T or Union Bay???
