ITP alunimum wheel cleaner?

hey guys,
how do i clean my new rims once they start to get the black spots going. looking for an easy lazy mans way of doing it?lol. i bought some alunimum cleaner, but after rubbing for 1/2 hour on one rime, i cant see a differance, it still looks like ****, lol.
