I have a webcam for topend with biggest lift I could get at .450" It made very nice gains on top but if I had to do it again I would get a midrange cam to put the power in a more useable range.

I also combined the cam with 12:1 arias piston, High-comp pistons and big cams go hand in hand and work together. The cam moves power through the rpm range from low rpm to mid or top end - it doesnt create any. You may have a loss of power down low with the cam and a high-comp piston will restore that power..

You will also have to get stiffer valve springs and better keepers to go along with any cam. High octane is required with the 12:1, preferably over 100.. I get by on 93 with some octane boost.

If I did both again, I would get a 10.5:1 piston and midrange cam.
