gear ratios on 2001 raptor

The way I see it is all the money I saved from not going to the movies and then the popcorn, candy, etc. I have put into the quads and keeping them going. I am not against movies or anything. I just watch them on TV.
I can then go outside hop on the Raptor or the KDX and do the real action thing and not just sit there in the movie theater watching other people do fun action things.
Money is a tool and you can do whatever you want with it.
Early on about 20 years ago now I made some correct decisions and they are paying off now.
Oh and when I want to get out, I hop in the Z28 and get out of the jungle.

garyc660R,
Are you sure its an LT1. I caught you in a spy photo and it sure don't look like no LT1. Looks more like a Rally Sport

Busted! Those were the days when I exclusively wore black.....looking back, I believe I had some wierd, morbid issues going on. Definately ditched the wheels / pop-out caps for some higher end ones too.
Won't be too long before that '86 is a classic......looks to be in good shape!
I had an 87 IROC once, black, 5-speed, 406ci sbc, 9-bolt rear, +4 outlaw hood.....backed it into a tree......where the heck did that tree come from anyway? Seriously! That car reminded me of a go-cart with a body on it.
The one I would really like to have back now was a 10th anniversary TA. You live and learn I suppose. Later.

garyc660R,
The old 86 has only 2719 miles on it so I guess you would have to say I like staying in the deep woods like you.
I might have been able to find a better spy photo but that would have required the long trip upstairs to the archives and then sorting through the photos. That one photo was just hanging on the wall right close. I am sure I have a bunch of old Z28 magazine adds from that time period. When you live in the deep woods and the chipmunks are pecking at the window demanding food. Well, you must have priorities.
I would love to have one of those early 455 SD T/A's , White with the blue strips. The one car I miss the most was the 1980 red corvette. It just had the L48, automatic but you felt so good in it until you hit a bump. You didn't mind it though.
Oh and the morbid issues. I had some of those in the 70's too and thank goodness body preicing wasn't the rage back then or I might have even had more holes in my head.

I only go to the "Movies" once a year, and that's only if it's a really nice theatre, like, really nice. I hate these cheap multi-plex, greasey floor, loud kids, uncomfortable seats, crappy screen, lousy sound theatres. Favorite theatres of mine are the Hollywood Pacific, Radio City Music Hall, and the Century theatres in San Jose. Otherwise I will wait for it on tape or DVD.
