Has anyone tried mixing RED ALERT NITRO RACING FUEl with gasoline and run it in their raptor?? It comes in 10%, 20% mix. I'm just looking for another 5-10% hp boost. Have already re-jetted, K&N filter. After market exhaust too loud for my neighbornood. Any one doing this??
Live to ride.

I have a R/C Nitro Truck and I run that in the truck it is made by Duratrax, There have been posts on the RC forum about people putting that stuff in there trucks when it gets old but, as far as I know it wont get you a performance gain. I couls be wrong.

i wouldnt do it, wanna know why? im into RC a lot, have 3 gas cars. the gas that we put inside our little itty pitty engines is for 2 STROKES ONLY!!!!!! and for GLOW PLUG ENGINES only....there is no spark plug on 2 stroke engines. I wouldnt do it one bit...although its nitro like you said...its not the same, its not meant for 4 stroke engines.

What the heck, why not? Run it and let me know what happens.
After all Ben Franklin invented electricity by accident.
I would rather see you blow up trying than me.

Pull - I have been playing with these products. The one I started out using had 40% nitro. The one I am using now has 80% nitro in it. I have not noticed a big enough improvement in performance to justify the expence. I run alcohol in my raptor and on a cold night at the track the alcohol gets fat, I use the nitro to lean out the fuel. It works great. You should give price chemical a call, they will send you information on the nitro additives. Very interesting information. How else are you going to stay ahead of your buddys

Pull- be careful with it. Ease into it. I saw a DS melt down at my house on it. Cheap power, but done wrong expensive parts bill.
