Hi..
I want to put sand tires on my wifes Warrior. It comes with 22" tires. Do I need to find sand tires in 22" size, or can I go with 20's or 21's? Thanks for the help.

No you dont have to find tires in 22"

you are refering to how tall the tire is you can run 20"\21" tires just fine you will just have less ground clearence.

Sure you can go with 20s you may want to gear up 1 tooth on the front to make up some top speed if thats important to her on the sand. I am looking for a set of 10" wheels for my Sand Skates 21x12x10 picked these up off a friend for $25 and there on Suzuki 5 holes.

20" or 21" sand tires work good on the warrior with stock gearing - a little top end speed is lost but not really noticeable. Actually, I think the effect of lower gearing (smaller dia rear tires) actually helps in the sand with the warrior (kinda heavy / moderate power).

I agree, if you go with the 20/21 tires don't gear up. You lose a LOT of power inthe sand - especially with paddles. The slightly lower overall gearing will help out.

You definately want 8 paddles or less. Too much paddle and you won't get out of 4th grear and you'll lose a lot of performance. I would say 6 or 7 paddles but 8 is probably OK. I run 8 to 10 paddles on my modded Banshee and actually prefer the 8 paddles and the Banshee is easily putting out more than twice the HP of the Warrior. In short, don't overpaddle.
