I am looking into buying a slip on pipe for my Raptor but am concerned about the sound level. I would like to get one that gives good low end and is not real loud. What would be a good exhaust to go with? I am looking at the Pro Circuit T-4 with a quiet core insert or the FMF power core IV Q. Are either of these pipes much louder than the stock? Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I want to keep it fairly quiet for respect of other people.

I talked with the people from MBRP about a month ago and they told me that thier slip on raptor muffler will be 96-98 db. I plan on ordering one myself in a couple of months if this turns out to true. They expect a 4hp gain without any other mods. Check out thier web site @ mbrp.com

The # 1 complaint that I have heard of closing down riding areas is loud pipes. Personally I love the sound of Hi- performance pipes but Its not worth Loosing a riding area for mysaelf or others.
