Unfornately I cant afford all the mods I would like. My buddies have done a number of mods and I have no problem hanging with them or passing them by. Most recreational riders do not need to widen and lower there machine be it a raptor or not. There for moving your A$$ is what is nessary for most. I see a lot of different people riding and quite a few think quads are for sitting still while riding. I am no mx racer but I enjoy Jumps, Trails, Hill climbs..... The list goes on. Most of the time moving your A$$ will suffice. (By the way most riders are not aggressive riders they. Some of them are just foolish with there money. Buying the best of everything doesn't make you the best rider.)

O.K. Man . Let's just start with what is necessary. Having owned 3 Raptors I can help you with the most important adds first. The most noticable handling improvement was the front suspension. The Raptor's soft front shocks START the whole Tippy feeling. Go with a decent zero preload shock so the front will sit a little better{ the rear can be modded to a zps } then widen the front with off set rims{ unless you can swing the wider a-arms}. THEN comes the rear!! + 4 axle!! You want to stay 50 inch max width rear for mx rules. That will help it handle like the other great handling sport quads out there!
