raptor burning oil?

Hey raptor owners does your raptor use oil alot. I broke my bike in the way theey shop told me to: take it easy on the first three tanks of gas and dont go past third gear well i did that and it uses quite a bit of oil but no leaks anywhere. somebody help me.

Are you getting blue smoke from the pipe?

How much oil are you losing?

That way it might help other peoples to help you.

there is no smoke from the pipe, no loss of power, i just thought that my rings are still seating cuz i have less than 10 hours on it.

also i'm putting in about 1/3 of a quart of oil in every few hours

Go back to dealer & get some education on maintainence of your machine. You should never have to add oil. No offence, but you do not need to ride unless you understand how an engine works. The dealer will be glad to help you with this & also look at your bike before you F it up. Good luck! No harm intended.

You better take it before it get worse.
You shouldn't able to add oil that much.
Assumiing that you still under the warranty? I wouldn't ride it till it fix.

I have had my 01 Raptor for 1 year and 2 months and between oil changes never add any oil.
