There is no drain plug. What you do is stand it up so it's resting on the rear wheels and the rear rack. All the water in the clutching will drain out of the clutch exhaust.
I think the weak link is where the two piece clutch exhaust fit together under the quad. I took mine apart, and put a generous bead of Marine Goo around the first piece, put them together, and tightened the clamp that holds the two together.
You can also take off the clutch cover, and put a bead of grease around the plastic gasket. That will help.

There is a drain plug on these.I have a 2000 and 4 friends I ride with have 01's and theirs have drain plugs.It is on the bottom on the block,,,,,,,,not the side cover.It is kinda confusing.I sometimes got water in mine but it was where the front snorkel connected to the front of the belt housing.I ended up getting a lower radiator hose (part # 302 from autozone) and cut a part of it off to use along with GOOD hoseclamps.I do know standing it on end will work if you have enough buddies [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
