Has anyone out there had problems with their starter relays. I've got an 01 Raptor in the last month I've gone through two relays. They just keep getting stuck open. If i beat it with a ratchet end or a rock I can sometimes get them unstuck. Just seems weird that after almost two years with it and no probs, all of a sudden I've gone through two.
Just wondering if anyones got some info or suggestions. Thanks

Are you sure that the relay is bad? It seems highly unlikely that a new one would fail already, I would lean more towards a bad wiring connection, possibly a dirty or corroded battery terminal or ground. Check ALL the wiring connections that have anything to do with the starting system befrore you go buy another one.

It could be a loose battery cable, or the battery could be too weak to start it.

The buzzing means it's not getting a sufficient flow of current to complete the circuit. Check all the wires first, not just at the battery terminals, but the other ends of those wires too, at the ground and the solenoid. And try a real battery, not a plug in thing, they never worked for me. If you don't have a suitable known-good battery to use, you could use jumper cables and run it off the battery from a car or riding mower.

pull your starter off and take it apart clean it our with brake cleaner, if it was under water chances are you have rust or silt or mud in the starter. That could be where you are loosing power, maybe.
