I know this topic has been done to death, bot you can disable reverse limmiter and have your light by using a relay.I hooked it all up at the CDI and it works well. My problem is Idont know how to post pics., and hate to type. If you E-mail me your # ill call you, mabey someone want to help postit?
Also when making this mod i discovered the wires on the CDI had the insulation rubbed off, potentialy shorting...might check yours.
