Hurycne- I have all the numbers and will post tommorow. I am tired but a quick review. 85 quads present, bored, stroked, nos, alcohol,turbo,piston/cams the whole nine yards. Randy won it all! on a DS760. The dyno gave everyone low numbers. piped/jetted raptors 41hp or less. Stage 2 DS's 45hp. Full story to follow.

Hurycne showed up after the party. Were you scared????????

All the big players showed up. Some drove more than 10 hours. They came from Oklahoma, Louisanna,Arkansas, New mexico and all over Texas.

hey raptorboy, your the one with the red, white and blue raptor? that was the fastest raptor i ever seen so far. you would definitly be the fastest raptor here in the new orleas area. and hurycne, i didnt meet you, did i?
i wanted to meet you. was your DS there? i had a great time. everyone was friendly. it was a long ride home though, took us 11 hours to get back. but it was worth it. i finally got to race some fast raptors..... talk to you guys later

Well, well, well... I was there until around 6:00 p.m. Saturday. The 760 ruled the drag races, easily beating the turbo of Scooby's, as a matter of fact, a red, white, and blue alcohol Raptor seemed to be the closest thing to Randy's 760, coming in around 5 quad-lengths behind. There was also another DS on alcohol with minor engine modifications that was consistently in the top 3. Scooby's bike is definetly something to see, and I feel like if the races were more like 1000 feet, he MIGHT be able to reel in the 760. Then again he might NOT! As far as the dyno went, the most horsepower when I left was in a Banshee coming in at around 59. I don't believe the dynos were that accurate. They weren't strapping the quads down well enough. Anyway, I went to this event not knowing which quad I wanted to buy. My mind is made up 100%. I will be riding a Baja DS 650 soon!!! DS's ruled. I like all of the quads, and I think they are ALL awesome, but as for me I will be riding a DS!!!

yes 14, i have to get it working right. i never used it much before, because i never needed it down here. that was the first time i really needed it. i think i might take it off and switch to alcohol. how hard is it to covert my 45 rwr carb? it seemed to work well on a couple of bikes i saw.
