i just bought a 93 warrior in really good shape except it smokes a little. i know i will be doing the top end in the near future and would like to add some high performance parts to it. first off this is a pleasure quad and will not be raced. what would be a good all around cam to put in it and also a higher compression piston. i see wiseco 10.25 compression pistons advertised but is that the stock compression for the warrior or is that higher than stock. if that is stock then what piston should i use and still be able to run pump gas. i would appreciate any help. thanks in advance.

The stock compressions is more like 9.2. Put in a 10.1 piston and midrange cam and some titanium springs and youll see some more power. A 10.1 poston is good but that alone wont add too much power without some other mods, pipe, jetting, filter, airbox, (cam, springs). If you do all those things it should be close to a stock 400 ex, except for the suspension.
