I took our grizzly through a hole that a timberwolf made it through. It wasnt that bad, water was not real deep. After i got out and started riding again, it acted like it was not shifting out of gear. We thought it got wet so we took it back to my house and left it to dry, i went and checked it yesterday and it was still not shifting. anybody know anything about this?

Did you drain the belt housing? That's the only way it's going to 'dry out'. There is a small black plug on the RH side (sitting on the machine), pull that and let the water out.

Yes, thats it. Pull it out and tip the bike on it's side to help it drain.
Or you can park the bike sideways on a hill with plug out to help it drain....

If there is any water in the tranny, look at it to see if it is dirty water. I would seriously look at cleaning the wieghts/clutch and re-greasing it properly. Talk to mich660griz about it. He has done the job before and could give you some very good tips. Nice thing about the forums...saves ya the heart ache of trial and error!
