I was wondering what kind of mods the grizzly owners out here have done?

I am quite satisfied with my Grizzly in stock form(For now) However, in the short future I plan on perking it up a notch.

Has anyone installed a new clutch kit?
What about new Jetting?
A Performance pipe (such as a Supertrap)?

What was the best most noticable mod?

What other bolt-on's can be done to a Grizzly

Well If you go to the top of the Yamaha Thread and look for (Grizzly Modifications) you can see all my mods. As for being the most noticable mod I have, was the Supertrapp Pipe, K&N Air filter, and jet kit for power wise. As for muding the Lock kit, lift kit, clutch kit, and Vampire tires are the best. Of course you can leave a Grizzly stock and get all the same ridding and fun. But a upgraded Griz will be even funner for certain people.

As for as I know I haven't lost or gained any fuel mileage. But it does give you ALOT more torque and horsepower. And I mean alot. It seems that my Griz is a rocket now. I can go just about anywhere I won't to go. And with any other ATV that is up to the challenge.

sounds good. I was thinking of adding the pipe and filter after I get some miles in it.

I like the supertrapp because you can increase the power or lower it by removing the disks. You can also make the machine louder or quieter. While giving you maxinum power.

How loud is "loud"? I want the pipe, but I don't want it to be obnoxious.

This is how it works: ALL the disks in, power is decreased but the noise is quiet. All the disks out, power is increases(Greatly), and noise is loud. And loud as in, louder than a stock Griz. But when you need to be quite for hunting or other needs and dont need all the power from the pipe, you can insert the disks back and its noticely quiet. It's very simple and a very good pipe to buy.
