Taller Haulers

The Extremes have a 1/8" thicker paddle, this makes the paddle stronger & less prone to flex under power. The Kevlar is an option, I think it's $10 a paddle more. The Kevlar will make the paddles a lot stronger & will wear less if ridden on hard pack. I never have to go more than 100 yards on hard packed dirt or asphalt so they said that they wouldn't recomend it for me, but it would probably make for a set of paddles that would last 3~4 times longer.
On the subject of throwing paddles on Haulers & Extremes you are not susposed to run less than 5 psi (I think thats right I can't find the paper work) On most sand tires you want to lower pressure for more grip. On Haulers & Extremes you want to have a crown in the tire so the paddles can bite better. Those people who think their getting better traction by running 2 psi in them are just getting a lot of flex in the carcass & that causes the paddles to deform & not get as good as grip & that is probably what causes the paddles to come off.
I run 7 psi when Drag racing & 5 psi in the dunes.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.
So do you find it easier to turn with 5psi? Or is there another reason that you run less in the dunes than on the strip? I know with my sharks the more air=less traction or better turning. Its kind of a trade off in the dunes for me.

Biggerisbetter was at a test & tune at Atoka one time & watched me launch. He said my tires were wrinkling pretty good on the launch so I added 2 psi to stiffen them up.
I have always run 5 psi before that at the dunes at Sahara & drag racing.
You don't want too much air in your tires when it's hot, the tires will expand & the heat will weaken the tires & they'll stretch & stay that way.
I have no problems turning, I run Mohawks on the front & don't turn any sharp corners while giving throttle. I use the engine breaking to plant the fronts & I turn well.
Extremes & Haulers will never turn as good as angled paddles (I saw eRaptoid actually spin out in a turn with angled paddles! He did a complete 180 on a trail ride) but the angled tires will never hook like Extremes & Haulers.
