I have the Dynoport version, and fairly happy with it so far. Pulls much stronger low to mid, with the top going away just a bit. I have new Boyesen reeds, jetting change, new filter, air box mods, removed TORS and i think thats about it. I run it about 85% of the time in the woods and love it. The mods helped me most on long technical hills. I too have the nickel version pipe, and got it in about 2 weeks or so. Does have a nice sound to it when revved out. (just watch indy 500).

For those who are wondering about top end loss....does anyone know if porting or head milling or a different combination of mods will bump the top end boost back up?? Im not all that worried about it, but it would be NICE to have the best of both worlds!

Ok, i'm back. i have moto fast stainless and moto fast head mods. i have stock jetting and 22.5 pilot jet, which is one step leaner than stock. i experinced an increase from top to bottom. maybe even more on top. people can't belive it when i tell them my banshee has better bottm end than my 87 trx250r, but it does. this pipe works very well i've rode other bikes w/fmf and paul turner pipes and still like moto fast better it has much wider power band than the others. DO NOT ride in shorts, i have a permenant brand mark from the first ride. pipe does not bother me other wise, i have not burned my riding pants, and can assure you the stainless version is very tough. the only thing i didn't like is that the pipe from the expansion chamber to the silincer is mild steel and it rusts. it sould be stainles or at least ceramic coated.

P.S. don't bother polishing pipe as it will discolor to a golden color very quickly.

How much was milled off of your head? Did this help out with the top end, in combination with the pipe?

What about air filter and box, did you modify the air box at all and what kind of air filter are you using?

I just installed a DynoPort 2into1 last night. Tonight I actually got to ride a little. I left the carbs untouched. When I took it down the driveway and back, it the carbs felt rich. It was a little blubbery on the topend. I remember from the instructions they say to remove the airbox snorkel. I did that and it does not have any blubber feeling. It seems to wind all the way out now. But, the midrange hit is gone

I think it sounds good, and so do some of my ridin buddies. That is the main reason I bought it (the sound).
I think I have some jetting to do though because it feels really sluggish and bogs off the bottom. With the stock pipes, the tires would really lightup when I jabbed the throttle. That is gone now.

Just an FYI,

I think that Rick Ritter @ www.rittercycle.com sells the Motofast pipe. You could check him out as well.
