I've never seen them advertised anywhere!
I've never read an artical about them!
I've never seen a dyno-chart on them!

But people say the best low-mid range pipe for the Banshee are the 2into1 pipes. Jimmy from moto-fast says they're the greatest pipes on earth, I have no reason to doubt him then again he is trying to sell me one. So, all you 2into1 pipe owners: HOW IS THE PIPE?
Do they live up to their reputation?
Do they perform like you were told and expected?
Would you recommend them to others?
Is it worth the big bucks?

If you own a 2into1 pipe please let us know what you think of it so we can put this discussion to an end once and for all.

Thanks,

Rob

i have a dynoport on my banshee. it's good if you do a lot of trail riding. you'll notice a big difference in low end power. unfortunately you lose some top end but it smoothes out the "hit" in the powerband making it easier to handle when things get tight. i love it because there aren't any dunes in no. va, so i don't miss or need the few mph's lost on top. don't get me wrong though, it still pulls harder than anything this side of a ds650 or kxf250!!!!

hope this helps!!!!

I'm not a 2 into 1 owner YET, but Jimmy from MOTO-FAST says that his pipe and the DynoPort are different. The difference according to him is that his pipe has less volume or vice versa (displacement) which allows it to rev as good or better than stock on top end.

I would assume that the DynoPort would be somewhat different from the Moto-Fast pipe, or Jimmy would own both companies due to patent infringements.

This is true they are different. Get the Moto-Fast, and never look back. There is no substitue for the bottom end this will give you and still is at least stock on top. Put a 13 tooth sprocket on and chug! Dave

A good buddy of mine has the dyno-port and it is pretty good. Not as fast as the FMF's on my other buddies (both are otherwise stock) but boy does that dyno port sound good. IT's like an F-1 car.

i run a 2:1 carb and duncan mids on my 93shee, yes i do own a 2:1 pipe. the motofast is collecting dust in the attic of my garage. while low is better, mid and top is equal to stock at best.
in defense of those who back this pipe i did put a considerable dent in it. however i dented it with my knee while riding the first day after it was installed, which speaks poorly of the pipes construction/materials used

I think the dent would really affect the performance of the pipe. As for strength. I have been using the Motofast for years, and all I can say is, if your knee did the denting it should have been several weeks before you were off your crutches!!! : ) Anyway they have held up well for me. Dave

If you want the Moto Fast pipe, better get in line. It comes in stainless and carbon steel. I ordered the stainless pipe in early January and it still isn't ready yet! Jimmy from MotoFast has an outside company actually build the pipes and he tells me they are too busy. He also recommended a head modification for more low end. That should be done and shipped back to me by mid next week (about 2.5 weeks). He is allot more involved in the ATV salvage business these days, than with the old Moto Fast brand. The pipe is great if you can stand the wait. He no longer sells the MotoFast 2 into 1 carb setup which further enhances the botom end.

I have the Dyno-Port 2 itno 1 pipe<nickel finish>. There is a noticeable difference in the low end and the pipe takes some of the whip out of the powerband. When i raced it against a stock banshee, we were sisde by side(i was actually a little faster). If you want a pipe that will be better in the woods without sacraficing much power, go with the 2 into 1 setup. Then if you throw a set of reed valves and an air filter in, the difference is amazing.I do not know much aboout the MotoFast, but i would say it is good too b/c many of the top GNCC riders use it. I have also heard that they are hard to get, teh DynoPort you do not have that problem. The sound is also awesome, like an indy car. For some info on the Dyno-Port go to www.dynoport.com

ATV Sport(October 1999) did an article on the DynoPort 2 into 1.

Hope this helps!
