what is a sign of me needing to rebuild my blaster 2 stroke motor? it has 150 Lbs. of compression like the clymer manual recomends, runs great still, but its a pain in the A** to crank when its cold. I have to pull it off to crank it.

I've put a new spark plug in it too. figured it might have fouled out. I mix my gas 32:1 ratio.

How old are those reeds? If they have quite a bit of time on them, you might try flipping them over or buying new ones. One might also be broken.

If the piston has been in a while, it might need a new one. 2-stokes are bad about wearing the rings thin.

Does it idle right or does it rev up after sitting at idle for a few seconds. If it revs up, you have an air leak.

One last simple thing, check the air filter.

Let me know if any of this helps.
