I don,t have a banshee but if I did I would run amsoil. I have owned many sleds and thats the only oil I run. In my sleds it kept the exhaust valves fairly clean. Racing synthetic. Works awesome on 2 strokes. Smells awesome mixed with c-12 110 octane.

If you total them up, my Buddies and I have owned 6 Banshee's together (going on 7 next month). None of us have ever had Engine problems or required a rebuild while we owned the quad. It really is amaizing stuff. I hear about Banshee reliability issues all the time, but have never seen problems with ours.

FYI we run the 100:1 Premix at about 80:1. One of those little bottles to 5.2 gallons of gas.

How much can you get a case of 12 for? I pay $36 something at the local store.

Talk to you later.

I have tried AMSOIL once. My dealer was out of Spectro SX (in my opinion the best oil made), so I picked up a bottle of Amsoil. I mixed it at 50:1 per bottle specs. Less than 2 gallons of fuel through my banshee, I seized a piston. Everyone I talked to said it was an oil problem. I called Amsoil to see if they would help with the rebuild, or give me a reason this might have happened. They told me they could do anything because it was mixed at 50:1 and wasn't in a race application. For trail riding it should have been mixed at 100:1, even leaner. The bottle didn't say anything about the trail/race issue. I starting talking around and found 7 different engines that had blew up on Amsoil in the previous month. Everying for a amsoil sponsored Jetski, other atvs, auto engines, and dirtbikes. They engine builder for the sponsored ski refused to build him another motor unless he got that oil out of it (he has seized many pistons and rods on this oil). I know this is just my story, and others have luck with it, but I will never run it again.
