I have 2 big bear 400's and the choke gets stuck on and off........could I have the same problem that you guys are having with the Raptors??

This is an old thread, but I would say that could be the problem. Have you looked at the area on the big bears?

 

Yep, I know it's an old thread, but I was looking around for info about the choke cable......I just became a member of the ATV Forum yesterday............I checked the area of the choke cable and I found that lots of water was in the line. I'm not sure if anything is rusty or not, but I slid the rubber boot down the line a little bit and water came out. So, I have reasoned that the choke cables were definitely getting frozen. I used my air compressor to blow it totally dry, then lubed it up with waterproof grease. Hopefully, this will solve the problem.
