That graph is extremely mis-leading and off-base. If I read it correctly, it shows the 400EX out accelerating a Raptor up through the first three gears... umm... NO!!! False advertising... big surprise!

 

Hey Alaska, you don't know it yet? The Raptor is the Slowest piece of $hit out there. Everything beats it. I was on a Suzuki LT80 and this Raptor Dude comes up an wants to drag. So I say "Wassuup....Beotch, you wanna piece of this". So, we take off and I had him up until 4th
then we were close. I still took him out though. I got a high compression piston and a Cam with a CT pipe. So it was pretty easy. This graph is a Joke. I could'nt find it on the site without using the link.

 

Just an FYI - I own a Z. Am not a Predator fan - just thought you guys would be amused. And yes, I know the 660 is faster/quicker than a Z - just wait till I install my BANKS Power kit! Magazine said it's good for 120hp - I can adapt it...now where's my plasma cutter?...

(actually - there is no Z - it's a really clever ploy by Honda to market their new quad ; )

 

wow, an suzuki 80 racing a raptor. i don't think so, and the z-400 is no honda, wait for the new honda to be out as a late '03 early '04 model, you'll know it's out when it passes you on the trail!

I don't know man, the Dale is a little faster than the Raptor and I was out run by a 400ex at top speed... damn chevy tops out at 100 mph and this Dodge (that had the 400ex in the back) apperantly doesn't have that limiter.

RINCON - How can you say the "new Honda" is gonna be faster than everything? You don't even know what it is! and if Honda does like they usually do, they'll release something that looks like it's gonna be awesome but still gets run over by the real quads. Sorry to say, Honda doesn't have the ***** to make something faster and better than a Cannondale so I have nothing to worry about.

 

the 400EX is the fastest on the MX track, that's what i was referring to. you're right though, the top speed of the EX isn't that impressing. the cannondale is a great quad, but picey

 

I see - That's why you said "trail" - because you meant MX Track...

funny, never seen a bone stock quad at an MX track.

And when I say Quad - I of course mean airplane

 

the trail and MX track are similar, handling is more of an asset than speed. i've seen many BONE STOCK quads at the MX track, 400EX is the best, a bone stock blaster isn't as good, nor the banshee, never seen the 'dales at the track though. and enough with the sarcasim, your far from funny
