Thought that'd get your attention. But, they didn't fix the leaking into the starter cable (choke) with their upgraded cable part# 5LP-26331-10-00 for the 2001 Raptor, IMO. I just installed them on both my Raptors today and there is little difference. They made the rubber portion that covers the adjusting nuts shorter than previous, it doesn't seem to fit any more snug than the original to me. IMO thats not where its leaking from anyway. At least not all of it. I believe its mostly coming from the rubber that covers the nut that screws into the carburator.
For those that wish to change this cable. I'd suggest cleaning the original to get it working properly and putting a small amount of scilicone over the ends of the rubber thats suppose to seal around the cable and save yourself $22.00. JMO
I could be speaking on this pre maturly as I haven't washed it since installing but, I don't think so.
