Don't cash them. As crazy as it may seem, if you cash them you might be agreeing to this amount as settlement for the 2001 tranny issue. JMO.

 

Possibly you took the rider safety course the manufacturers offer the reimbursement for, OR if you havent maybe they are saying you did - to get the government qouta.. then just sending you a check (figuring you wont complain about free money)

I would cash it. You would have to do alot more to relinquish your rights than cash a check.

 

Warrior007- You may be right. I will ask my wife if she ever got the 100 dollars. If that is what it is, it only took them 21 months. Good thing they did not pay intrest on the money. I have taken the safty corse 3 times now. My kid reads the warning label on the quad and tellls me that i break most of the rules.

I've got a 2001 Raptor and I haven't gotten one. What is the first initial of the last names that received a check?? Mine is "M". Alot of times things are sent out in aphabetical order?!
Maybe I'll get one soon also.

Well I have tried to call the 800-962-7926 number all morning and have only gotten through one time(Always busy?). The one time that I did get through I was supposedly being transferred and it went to a busy signal again and then I got cut off. What a Fuc!ing JOKE. I will keep trying, I even called my local dealer that I bought the quad through and they didn't have a clue, hell they didn't even have a phone number for me to call Yamaha, I had to get it off the net.

 

Boy do I feel like a dumb A$$ now. I finally got through with Yamaha, and of course they didn't have a clue, they basically told me that it was probably a scam and not to cash it. I found in small print on the back of the check that if I didn't cash the check within 60 days that Parago Inc. would receive the proceeds. So I looked at Parago and their Rebates section and low and behold! It was a rebate check for a CD-Burner that I purchased month's ago, yes it was a "YAMAHA" CD-Burner! F, some days I might as well stay in bed. Thanks for your help anyway!

 

If anyone cashes that check.....you have sold out!! On the other hand....maybe nothing will be done anyways....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]
