Can you adjust reverse on the Raptor?
#1
When I try to shift my Raptor into reverse it only goes in about half the time on the first try and then grinds when I let the clutch out. Is there some adjustment needed or is this common? Doesn't sound too good.

This is what the book says.
Check the reverse **** free play. There should be none. If when you turn the **** it has no resistence for any part of the turn it is out of adjustment.
Adjust the cable via adjusting nuts until any freeplay in the **** is gone.
Caution:: from me: when tightening insure the cable is taught, at the same time insure that it is not so tight that is in engaging the reverse mechanism.

i had this problem to, but something i started doing that works everytime is when shifting down into reverse keep pressing down and slip the clutch a little and you will feel it drop into gear.i haven't grinded the gears since i started doing this.
