I have been looking for a Banshee in my budget (less than $2000) for over a month, and pretty much resigned myself to the fact that it wasn't possible, or I was going to have to get one that needed a lot of work, for that kind of money.

Well, this last weekend I found my deal! All stock 87 Banshee, totally original except for new wheels and tires, new chain and sprockets, boost bottle, the only problem is a broken headlight. I got it for about $1800. Came with 2 full sets of wheels and tires, plus some other spare tires (total of 12 tires and 8 wheels).

Is this a decent deal for a good running Banshee? I had to pay to get it shipped to me, but I'm still under the $2300 mark.

No, I saw pictures, spoke with the guy at great length, checked out his feedback on Ebay, etc. I know that you take a chance doing deals long distance, but I have had pretty good luck.
