I hit GLAMIS about 10 times a year! 4 hour drive and have groups ranging from a few to few dozen. I like to camp at Roadrunner or the pads south of Gecko Capmground.

Toys include many Raptors, Banshees, 440ex's, Bombs, the fastest LT500 ever! a bunch of bikes, and too many sand rails.

The sand rail guys think they are hot ****.

Friday night arival followed by a night ride, beers, bon fire, pass out!....

Saturday I like to get up early (no matter how hung over) and head over to Olds first, then over to China Wall, then back to camp for breakfast. By then the rest of the group is up and about. Then we head back out towards China, then all the way over to Comp, then back to Olds, over to Boardmanvill for lunch and beers (just a few) and back to Olds for 12:00 noon races! Back to China, over to camp to refill the 6 pack rack and off to the Drags at about 3:00pm. Now the freaks are out in full force! Then we go back to camp for big fat steaks, grilled veggies, garlic bread, Bacardi drinks, camp fire, etc. Finaly a night ride for a few hours, back to camp for too many beers and a tone of lies!!

Sunday is the same but we head home at 12:00noon.

150 real dune miles (no sand highway)

Little Sahara, Ok.

Trails in Arkansas.

Little courses around here.

I hear you Andrew.I think the same thing when that things flies around the corner.I always end backing off from my original spot to watch the train. The breeze,or should I say wind, feels pretty good. And the fear of a hobo jacking me is there to.It all adds up to fun.Later

The best spot for me....is the back yard. Around 3500+ miles of trails heading in all directions and through all types of terrain

Gotta love the UP!!!!

So far my favorite place to ride is St Anthonys Idaho. The biggest badest most challenging Dunes I've seen.

2nd would be any mountain trails/roads of Montanas Rocky Mountains.

Then comes the rest.
Any other Dunes
The desert just west of Salton City, Ca
The San Bernardino Mountains trail system, Ca.

3tv,

Loved the pictures. People that do nothing but Dune ride are missing something special. I think our next years trip to Montana will include a few days stop at the Paiute trails system.

PA, abandoned strip/coal mines, hill climbs galore & plenty of Power line trails to connect them!
