i agree, on wyodunner's site the big wieght of the DS650 holds it back on the steep hill (stock anyways) compared to the shee's and the raptors

I agree that the Scrambler does weigh more... but it's more like 560lbs, not the rediculous 700lbs. The scrambler will definitely find better traction on a loose or slippery surface (including sand). A scrambler with 4xPaddles is unstoppable and can climb any sand hill.

I think the best way of looking at it is the sportier bike can launch faster and rip up the hills (assuming they have good traction), but the scrambler will trudge right on up the hill (like an tank).

Guys, sometimes it's not all about momentum, If this hill is long, and steep your warrior, 400ex etc will run out of it's momentum real soon, and the 4x4's will pass, they might be slow, but they can climb.

i am sorry that was a typo i ment 600lbs because the 4x4 is 20lbs heavier then the 2x4. but unless the hill is filled with obstacles like rocks and logs why wood you want to go slow and if it steep enough to make a quad loose its momentum quickly thats a really steep hill and i dont think i would want to hit that but maybe you people are braver then me.
