I asked this question in an earlier post but didnt get a straight answer.
the banshee needs front shocks.
I was wondering what other models shocks will fit without modification. im looking on e-bay so i need to know to do the search- eg.(banshee, blaster, warrior, raptor shocks)
any one have a set for sale??

It looks to me that you have access to all of the quads you mentioned. Just get out you tape and measure. Why take anybody elses word for it.

i just went to yamaha.com and read that the raptor has 9.1 in of travel in the frt shocks and the banshee has 9.1 in of travel.. this may not mean that they are the same lenght but they may be... BTW are raptor frt shocks better htan banshee frt shocks???

Raptor and Banshee shocks are not inter-changeable. The Raptor shocks are an inch longer than the Banshee shocks. I know this because i tried. I believe Banshee's measure at 15 in. and Raptor's at 16 in.

buy after market stock shocks should be the first thing to go but all to often you see people put pipes or other things first

this is whats confusing to me, if two quads have the same size shock, couldent the amount of preload be different- different spring diameter or somthing else internal ? seems that a blaster would not have as heavy duty of a shock as a banshee.
i wish that i could put aftermarket shocks on, but i have 7 quads, harley, motorhome, fiat spider,p/u truck, lawn mower, weed eater- get the picture? too many f*#%@n' motors! i'm tapped out!
thats why i need to buy used, off of e-bay
