I have a 2001 Warrior that under load (Hill climbing) the forward/ reverse lever pops out of gear and goes into a neutral state. Has anyone else experienced this problem. I have made sure that it is fully engaged in the forward position before starting. I have also gone to the extreme as to bungee cord the lever in the forward position and this seems to help. any ideas as how to fix this would be greatly apreciated.

I have the same problem. I have a 2001 warrior also. Mine would usually do it in the snow when I was revving it, then it got bogged a bit and popped out of gear. I don't know it it is an adjustment problem or what.

Mine does it to, I heard being that its air cooled it uses the same oil to cool the clutch as it does the engine. So when it gets warmed up it will not shift real well under any load at all (ex. hill climbing, peeling out, drag racing). The FST oil cooler is supposed to solve this problem, but the stock weak clutch doesnt help it out either though.
