Slime ( the real green stuff ) can be had at TSC for about 25$ a gallon, that's the cheapest I've come across it. BTW no slime doesn't do real well on sidewall punctures, a tar/rope plug is the ticket for that.

sit down, read the owners manual, cover to cover, then go out and take too many pictures!!
safety equipment, common sense and a little fuel should do. follow btreak-in rules.

Slime works. I have been using it for over 3 years now. I have it in all the Quads and dirtbikes in our stable. I have been saved 2 times (huge nails) when we were really far away from home.

I have even put it in the small garden tractor and even the Swisher Bushhog tires.
Out in the field when you runover those wild rose bushes and blackberrie thorns they attach themselfs and cause slow leaks without slime. With slime you simply pull the thorn out it bleeds green and the hole is plugged.

not that i can feel...i've got tires i use for trail riding (slimed) and tires i use for MX (not slimed) i can't feel a diffrence. i don't run slime in the mx holeshots for weight savings...plus their on beadlocks.

Make sure you get insurance even before you bring it home.

oooooooooh raptorman, ya make me blush. I did that too!
started backing down the ramp in gear, got just past the pint of no return, and the thing went "thump" like they do and stopped. well, at least the tires stopped. there was a terrifying 'i.m not balanced' feeling, then i felt like going over backwards was in slow motion. i landed on my tailbone and back with the bars still in my hands! It is not natural to loook UP and see your gas cap! a friend pushed it off me, and when i regained my breath etc., i was a VERY careful rider rest of the day! So coast the ramp or walk it down pleez!

cya ;p
