How much difference is there in .5 seconds on dirt?

The only reason I ask is I saw, what looked to be a bone stock, Raptor run a 5.6 in the 300' dirt. The guy was runnig Pro Wedges but everything else was stock.

My bone stock ds was only running 6.523 and beating most so he must have been pretty pumped and im not trying to upset any one but no raptor after seeing me stage has lined up with me.and i have set and talked with the guys on the raptors.king rappy is the only rappy that ever staged with me twice or my son i should say. and that was at the dunes not the drags.and yes he did beat my bike.

Yes i have pulled off a 4.934 but my average is just 5.212 in the state im in now.And hey velocity i found a asphalt track to run as soon as i get back from sand mt im going to try her on asphalt. i have a set of hoosiers but my vipers seem to get a better take off on the street.i can smoke my vipers yes smoke them on the streetI can lay out 20" burnouts.then i must hide the bike so when the cops get there we blame it on the neighborhood kids.hey i don't have too much pride. Rob,
No I didn't wreck this time. I'm kind of proud of myself for making it home in one peice. Besides that wrecking $hit is getting to be a bit expensive. And yes I'm up for playing with the Bombers this weekend.:cool

Wow! 7.91 What MPH was you turning? We have a night at KCIR in Kansas City, MO that ATVs can run 1/8 mile. The best mine turned was 9.05 at 69.8MPH, and that's with a wheelie bar leaving on the rev limiter. It just has CT pipe, jetting, K&N. The fastest Banshees are turning 8.0s down here. You need to bring that bad boy down to show these guys what's up. There's no fast Raptors in KC that I know of. I'd also be interested in your setup. What have you done to get it to run like that. That's really hauling. Email me with the details if don't mind sharing. I'm planing to build it up over the winter. I'd like to shut up a few local Banshee boys.

did you race all 3 tracks the same weekend? why is your dirt time faster than you sand time? most people lose about .3. what kind of tires did you run on asphalt?

Yes, I raced all three tracks on the same weekend. I used my stockers/beadlocks on the aspault ( their almost bald so they allowed me to spin a good bit). I think If I would of run a wheelie bar I could of shaved a tenth or so? The only reason I can come up with as far as my sand times being faster than my dirt times is, the sand that I dialed in my 300' times was on a sand bar (Platte River) where the sand is very damp and the hook up factor was great. I had a really hard time hooking up on the dirt. It's pretty much all spin until I hit third.
