Running with 144/146 jets and the stock head pipe. I have two 1-1/4" holes in the air box lid with a WB powerfilter. Just wanting to get some feedback on the number of disks anyone is running and the results. Thanks for any input!

 

Do a search on it. There was a good post a few months ago on the same topic. I think most ran about 12.

 

I personally had the best results with 14 discs, no lid with a K&N.

I ran 146/148's, K&N, no lid, 16 discs. Nice!!

 

I have run with 14 discs for about the last year now. It seemed to work best on my bike the way it was set up.

I still run with my lid,even after installing the cam and high comp piston. The lid is modified more than just cutting out the restrictors, but I don't have the best filtration for removing it altogether yet. I surely do want to tho. I needs mo monay!

Once I do go to the open box set up and induce more air, I will probably go up on discs one or two to let her breathe that much more! Suckin' and a Blowin' - that's what it's all about baby[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
