disk brakes for recon

is there any way to put disk brakes on the front of my recon i probaly wont gety any replys but worth a shot o yeah i want them for the front not back

There isn't any kits for it.If you took the discs off something else it would probably be a disaster in the making.

i know that there are no conversions i was wondering if anyone else has done it i hate my front drums they get full of water and i have to clean them all the time

OK it might not be that hard.Say you took the whole Disc assembly and hubs from a Lacota Mojave.(That would be close for the Recon)Or maybe an old 250X or 300EX.You would have to take the whole disc and hubs from it.Remove the drums from your assembly and hope the spindles are the same.Oh yea you would have to have the brake lever and master fluid assembly alond with the cable too.Talk to an aftermarket dealer about it.
