<< How will the spacers stand up to jumping? >>

This is a pic of eraptoid jumping He has wheel spacers on his 01 & has no problems so far. He's not a big guy though & he is jumping on sand. That doesn't mean that you won't bend an axle if you jump but eraptoid hasn't had a problem.

<< How about High Lifter spacers, I think they are make out of metal, instead of plastic >>

Here is a pic of my High lifter spacers They are aluminum & you use the stock wheel studs & I liked that, They were $78 from my local Yamaha Dealer. They add 1 1/2" per side.

Hey Moose, what is the part number of the High Lifter Spacers?? Are they a regular stock item for Yamaha dealers or do they have a lot of aftermarket parts??

Thanks

Damn, Eraptoid is getting some serious air. I never and will never get air like that.

Here are pics of the Durablues. They may be lighter than the aluminum style. They come with studs that thread onto the existing studs then the spacer goes on, then install the wheel the way you normaly would. They are very durable, don't let the plastic fool you.

$86.00 at Partsdirect.com

Nice looking pics adam. I must say, Randy has the best looking DS I've ever seen. I like the cut fenders and lower profile look he has going on.

The High Lifter part number is WT411515. They don't actually list a part number for a Raptor & I had to do a slight modification to get them to fit.
The Raptor hub has little locating **** on them, I put the spacers on my drill press & cut notches in them. Here is the pics of my mods I used a flat top grinding bit in my drill press & milled the notches in. I could have ground the **** off the hubs but I wanted to leave them on.

No it wasn't an instock item for my dealer, but they give me 25% off my parts so when I see something I want I order it from them & they can get it for me cheaper.
List price on them were $97 & I got them for $72 & change.

Thanks.

I am pretty seriously considering getting some 20-11-9 Razor's (gain 1&quot over my 20-10-9 stock Dunlaps then getting 1" out offset rims for a total of 3" wider if all those values are true.

The 20x11x9's won't give you any more width the tread is just 1" wider.
My High Lifters are 1 1/2" a side & with my Douglass wheels that makes it 5" wider over all.
It's just 3" wider with my stock wheels.
With your 1" offset wheels you will have a 2" overall gain.

Adam, I know you are trying to buy my old '02 Raptor. The only way you are going to get it to handle like it used to is to go with some front zero preload shocks. They lower the Rap and make it feel like you installed training wheels without decreasing your travel. Don't waste your money on spacers, do it right the first time. The right shocks will make it handle better than a +4 axle and spacers combined because the tippy / top heavy feeling comes from the front shocks being too soft and springy. They really don't hold the Rap flat while getting sideways. Save for the shocks, they worked on the 3 Raps that I've owned.
