WAS JUST CLEANING MY BLASTER and noticed there's a hole on the passenger side of the carb that has threads, but nothing in it. LOOKS like there should be an idle speed screw in it. the rig seems to run fine, BUT i dont wanna fry a piston! Am i missing a brass noodle? help!

Yeah I noticed that on mine too. When I shined a light down the hole it looked like it was closed off and couldn't effect anything.

pretty sure its so they can use the same carb on other quads and bikes that require two carbs they bolt them together. like the banshee?

If it is what I think you are refering to, it is to hold the clamp to keep the carb cap from turning. The banshee uses the same carb, and the left side clamp is on the left, right is on the right.

The hole for the idle adjuster (blaster/banshee doesn't have an adjuster from factory) should not be tapped, and the end is cut at an angle. If you get a Motion Pro throttle kit to get rid of the clusterf@#k that is on top of the carb, you will need their idle adjuster kit. You will drill and tap this hold and install the adjuster screw.
